Fire-fighting Museum

#ARTICLE_DATE_LETREHOZVA#: 21 February 2013  |  Created: 12 June 2015

Eger is famous for protecting the traditions of the civils. The Volunteer Fire-fighting Association of Eger provides presentations, festive processions, and summer events for the city.

The Fire-fighting Museum was improved with the assistance of the European Union. The museum is unique in Hungary with its collection and so became one of the most significant attraction in Eger.

The certain elements of the exhibition – signal centre, permanent exhibition, "sights repertory", restorer workroom, and playground – represent a wide spectrum of facilities, which are suitable for each age-group.

The Fire-tower Playhouse is a great place to organize birthday parties for children.
Several, quality souvenirs are available at "Fire-nest" souvenir shop.

Opening hours: Mon-Sun 10.00-18.00
